there seems to be a new phpauction GPL 3.3 version out its not much diferant comes with loads of themes and a nice admin panel has some good stuff on it but most of them when trying to enable them it says this is not in the GPL release. dont know if renlok can use anything from it.
just incase he wants to download it and have a look I have uploaded it to YouShare as my attachements space here is running low

hmm ill have to have a look at what they've done to increase the size of it by 20mb :P
EDIT: lol i installed it and it looks like the extra space is used up by lots of pages that say "This feature is not available in phpauction GPL"Last edited by renlok; 08-02-2010 at 03:47 PM.

yeah I also noted that there are lots of .svn folders aswell so in thery instead of downloading 1 script you download 2 the original and a copy in .svn format

Thanks. How old is PHPAuction nowadays? They don't seem to have a website anymore?

How'd you find out about that? It makes sense though I guess, unless the developer just dropped the project...

From memory, it is true that the original developer passed away unfortunately. Lorena Matrinez Mier took over the phpAuction company and over the past 6 months or so, they have completely re-written the auction platform and released Enuuk which is more modular and much easier to update / modify.
We use it for our website Home | SellMyRetro - The Trading Site for Retro Electronic Equipment and find the current v1.7 extremely stable
We have also started an unofficial forum site to discuss Enuuk and the mods - see Enuuk Auction Platform Forums
