    Hi,

I just installed Webid 1.2.2. on my WAMP Localhost.
After that I registered frontend as a user.
Unfortunately I did not receive an email to confirm the registration.
I tried to log in and received the message: "Your account has yet to be activated please check your emails for the activation link."

    How can I solve this?

Thx in advance for the answer

I also went to the table "adminusers". That was empty, so I created an admin directly in Phpmyadmin. See added image.
I tried to login and got "Login Incorrect".

So, in the middle of nowhere...

Do you have an email server? you'll need that to send the email to the provided email address on registration?

you can also activated any users account from the admin panel, which can be found http://localhost/admin or youdomain.tld/admin from any web browser. you will need to delete that admin account you created from phpMyAdmin because all passwords need to go through a hashing process and setting up an account from phpMyAdmin wont work.

if you delete the password then login to http://localhost/admin or youdomain.tld/admin you will be prompted to setup a new administrator account.

Thx, for trying to help me.

Only, now I have another problem:

Today, after searching and searching? I succeeded to install Webid.
I registered as user, but I did not receive a mail to confirm registration.
So I installed a fake mailserver, being sendmail.

I started with the index.php page and now I got this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function query() on null in C:\wamp64\www\weBid\includes\database\DatabasePDO.php on line 47

Added you can see this error and the code where the error refers to...

    Thx for yor help

i dont think the problem is DatabasePDO.php.

the error is in an sql query / command being used in whichever file your are trying to execute. you say it is index.php, which is the homepage of WeBid script.

did you make any changes in index.php?
is there any errors in the error section of the admin panel?
Whats on line 59 of /common.php?
