    100% Complete
    Incorrect string value: '\xA1Tiene...' for column 'answer' at row 1 INSERT INTO `webid_faqs_translated` VALUES (2, 'ES', 'Registrarse', 'Para registrar un nuevo usuario, haz click en RegíÂÂ*strate en la parte superior de la pantalla. Se te preguntarán tus datos personales, un nombre de usuario, una contraseña e informacion de contacto como la direccion e-mail. ¡Tienes que ser mayor de edad para poder registrarte!');

    Tried it on Win 2003 , Win 2008 , PHP 5 , MySQL 5.1. Ran version 1.0.1 before with no issues a while back.

    I see there is mention of this in another thread with no real solution. ( tried re-installing MySQL with older and new versions.)

    Any help would be greatly appreciated !

    Thanks

    Check your database collation and set it to utf8 general ci... that should fix your problem

    I encountered problem when i tried to install it. Is this something to do with compatibility with the new version?..I tried to removed the old one and it says that you have to remove all of the packages as well to avoid errors when you are going to install the new one..That's what happened to me when i tried to install the new version.

    I am still having the same problem. #2 mentioned to check database collation and set it to utf8 general ci.

    I created database in mysql command line with this line:
    CREATE DATABASE WeBidDatabase CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci;

    I am doing it right or wrong ?

    My system language is EN(United States) . I install webid in English.

    I tried WeBid 0.8.3 and 0.8.5. They had the same problem so i re-installed MySQL 5.0.89 and phpMyAdmin 2.11.11.3 and make some changes that i didn't do with phpMyAdmin 3.5. It worked like a miracle :)

    By the way, what is the fastest way to send activation mail to user if you are using your personal laptop?

    I am using windows 7 professional x64 bits and they said it doesn't support SMPT server on IIS 7.5.

    Okay it wasnt the webid script then. Sending your activation email on a laptop or a desktop should be the same speed.
