I use IE Tab in Firefox to check out rendering via the IE engine, but that's only the 1 renderer. Haven't tried NetRenderer - I'll have to check it out ;)

Sorry to leave you guys hanging this last RC. Not sure I can keep up with JB again but I'm loading and I'll start testing again in earnest.

No, that doesn't mean you can slow down JB! ;)

    Hey Renlok,
In case you don't recall, I do these RCs with comparisons without install.

I recall reading that an update needed to be run for this one but only thing I see is the 0.7.2 to 0.7.3 one and it also looks like it might screw up my DB which I have never changed.

Do I need to run anything now for RC3 and/or what might be missing in my DB to check that I'm ok.

I did not the replacement of the bid.html file so I'll keep my eyes on that kind of stuff in the future.

Sorry, I know I went through this with you a few RCs back (0.7.2) but I really don't want to break the work I've done so far.

    Sorry for the hassle.

Thanks, must have misread. Think the update.php threw me too.

Getting harder to keep track as I customize and have multiple templates I'm fooling around with (but in a real way). Good procedure though.

Getting ready to load RC3 after the edits so we'll soon see.

    Thanks again.

I did a new install and used the default categories. But, I cannot delete the categories. They are all red x'd any ideas or should I do a new install and not pick default categories?

    Edit

    Awww, subcategories LOL

Ok, I have two instances of this running. What I did was copy the DB in mysql. Then edited data.inc.php to reflect the new db and main path. Then went in as admin and changed the url and name. Now, when I log in to one as a user it logs me into both. When I log out it logs me out of both. The changes made in one do not show in the other, but the login part is screwy.

If I want multiple versions of this running on the same server do I need to do an install for each one? Or am I missing something in the configuration?

If I need to do an install is there an easy way to add my categories to the install default so I do not have to repeat the cat creation each time?

Given that one instance is working and the DB shows the categories, copy
    /language/categories.inc.php
    and
    /language/categories_select_box.inc.php
to the one that is not showing.

Not sure about the login issue.

I'll try downloading it again, I did get it late this morning but we will see.

My other problem I think is related to the session cookie but not sure. I will have to find a work around.

Are 4 Decimal places in Database Purposeful?

Didn't know where to post this one.

Is there a reason for 4 decimals on money based database fields for auctions?

I'd like to change them to 2 but will that break any formats elsewhere? Most I see just add the "USD" so seems like it would be alright and possibly a change if 4 decimals aren't needed for some currency I'm unaware of (all of them! ;) ).

For me, changing it makes it easier to just use the un-formatted/un-php'd field (Me speakie little php!) in some places and without eliminating the already in place formatted with "USD".
