i keep getting this error when trying to upload a banner

Wrong file type. Allowed formats: GIF, JPG, PNG, SWF

'i've tried to upload an jpg and a gif banner

did you set the right permissions for the folder where it will be uploaded?

I get the same error. Permissions are fine, I have searched for a while trying to find the page with the error but to no avail. I will keep trying, any help would be help :D

Yeah ive found the problem with this. Urm i cant actually remember what i did to fix it but im going to upload the next version in the testing section soon just just use that.

OK it has nothing to do with permissions heres the fix or i think this is the fix
find the line

$INFO = getimagesize($_FILES['bannerfile']['tmp_name']);
and the line below it should look something like

if(($INFO[2] < 0 && $INFO[2] > 4) || empty($INFO[2]) || empty($INFO[4])) {
change this line to

if(($INFO[2] < 0 && $INFO[2] > 4) || empty($INFO[2])) {

It has not been sorted on the latest version and the code within has been changed so the FIX above is no longer applicable on 1.1.1 It has nothing to do with file extension as have tried uppercase and lowercase and directory is writeable.
If I delete the user and do the banner over again it appears to load but is not displaying. If I try to load a replacement banner it comes up with the error.
