try instead of Auction URL: <#a_url#>

use

Auction URL: <#a_url#>

dont know how the link is showed, ebcause i have not yet started to edit these pages.
or try this
Auction URL: <a href=<#a_url#>><#a_url#></a>

ive had a look and i think thats a bug with the script >_<

heres the fix
add

$auction_url = $system->SETTINGS['siteurl'].'item.php?id='.$auction_id;
before

$message = ereg_replace("<#a_url#>","$auction_url",$message);
in includes/auction_confirmation.inc.php

youve deleted the end > tag off the link

Auction URL: <a href=<#a_url#><#a_url#></a>

should be

Auction URL: <#a_url#>
